The multichannel, continuous recording system uses a four-track process that can accurately record four separate conversations on a single standard cassette. It allows simultaneous recording and playback, recording up to six hours without a tape change, the Advocate V operates in three different modes. In the sequential mode, it records on one tape at a time, automatically switching to the second tape with no loss of input. In dual mode, it records on both tapes simultaneously.
